Rayenda Group of Companies ("Rayenda Group", "we", "us") is the parent company behind Rayenda Technologies, Rayenda News and the other companies that carry the Rayenda name. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
It covers this website only. Each Rayenda company runs its own products and services and publishes its own privacy policy for them. If you use one of those products, that company's policy applies.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. Your name, email address, organisation (optional), the topic you choose, your message, and your confirmation that we may contact you about the request.
- Email and phone. If you write to us or call us, we keep the correspondence and any details you choose to share in it.
- Job enquiries. If you send us a note, a CV or a link to your work, we keep what you send so we can consider it.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the date and time, and the page that referred you. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Essential cookies. We set a session cookie and a security token that protects our forms from abuse. They are required for the site to work and are removed when they expire. The details are in our Cookie Policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this website, and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors.
2. How we use your information
- To read and reply to your message, and to route it to the right Rayenda company or team.
- To follow up on a partnership, investment, press or career conversation that you started.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
- To meet legal, tax or regulatory obligations that apply to us in Bangladesh.
We do not use your details to send marketing emails unless you have clearly asked us to.
3. Why we are allowed to use it
We rely on your consent when you submit the contact form, on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the site secure, and on legal obligations where they apply. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Within the group. If your message is about a specific Rayenda company, we pass it to that company so the right people can answer.
- Service providers. Companies that host our website and deliver our email process data on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality commitments.
- Legal reasons. If the law, a court order or a government authority in Bangladesh requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. Third-party services on this site
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- Google Maps. The Contact page embeds a map of our head office. Google may set its own cookies and collect usage data when that map loads.
- Links to other sites. We link to our companies' websites and to our pages on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and X. Once you leave this site, the other site's privacy policy applies.
6. How we store and protect it
Messages sent through the contact form are stored in our website's database and delivered to our team by email. Only authorised members of the Rayenda team can read them. The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and our admin area is protected by individual logins.
No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send passwords, card numbers, national ID numbers or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.
7. How long we keep it
- Messages and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and to keep a reasonable record of our dealings with you, and are deleted when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Job enquiries are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a suitable role opens.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or overwritten.
8. Where it is processed
Rayenda Group is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Some of our hosting and email providers operate servers in other countries, so your information may be processed outside Bangladesh. Wherever it is processed, we apply the protections described in this policy.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your messages and details from our records;
- stop contacting you about a request.
Write to contact@rayenda.com from the email address you used with us, and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the contact form needs the essential cookies to work.
10. Children
This website is meant for businesses, partners, the press and job seekers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the group grows, when we add new features to the site or when the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the bottom. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
